This week students had the opportunity to visit seven centers and practice using math tools. Students used rulers, calculators, pattern blocks, tangrams, unified cubes, number lines, and base ten blocks!
If you did not receive an email from me Friday evening containing the attached newsletter, please contact me so I can update my email distro list. Thank you!
Please remember to make sure students eat a healthy breakfast each morning and come to school wearing tennis shoes! Students should also bring a healthy snack and bottle of water. Snacks will no longer be sold in the cafeteria.
I know the beginning of the school year involves a lot of paperwork. Please make sure to send in your child's spotlight as well as the student information sheet. Both should have been given to you in your registration packet. If you are missing either, please let me know and I will send home another copy!
Please make sure students bring in a pair of headphones to use in the computer lab. If they have a pair from last year, those are fine.
I am so excited to see the students tomorrow morning! They are a terrific group filled with tons of energy and so many unique personalities. I am so excited to get to know them in the next few weeks. It is going to be a great year!
